Progress Awards recognize Waverly businesses

The Waverly Chamber of Commerce's Ambassadors Program recently recognized three area businesses with Progress Awards. BeMobile, the managers of Super 8 – Waverly and Comfort Inn were presented the awards during surprise visits by chamber Ambassadors.


The Waverly Chamber of Commerce's Ambassadors Program recently recognized three area businesses with Progress Awards.

BeMobile, the managers of Super 8 – Waverly and Comfort Inn were presented the awards during surprise visits by chamber Ambassadors, a March 1 chamber release said.

BeMobile, a Verizon cellphone dealer, was honored for hiring a new store manager, Nancy Eckheart, from New Hampton, the release said. Comfort Inn, along with Super 8 managers Gary and Kathiee Phillips, received awards for remodeling their facilities.

The Ambassadors Program welcomes new businesses, recognizes business expansion efforts, recruits new members to the Waverly chamber and represents the chamber throughout the community, the release said.
