The Mason City Chamber of Commerce recently announced that business owners looking to hire or keep valued employees can now take advantage of its concierge program.

The service aims to assure that new or prospective workers have a smooth transition to life in north Iowa. Under the program, Colleen Frein, the Mason Chamber Chamber’s concierge, offers a customized tour and help with finding jobs for spouses, churches, child care, schools and transitional housing.

Cost for a referral to the program is $175.

The Chamber also offers a concierge card that business owners or new residents can buy for $100. The card entitles the purchaser to five different services offered by local businesses, including help with pets, finances, vehicle maintenance and health issues.

The Mason City Chamber also said it will publish comprehensive information for people planning to relocate to the region.
