Northeast Iowa Community College recently announced it will hold its second annual business summit on May 23 in Dubuque, Iowa.
The summit, dubbed “Unlock the Power of Multiple Generations,” will focus on multiple generations in the marketplace and workforce and will be geared toward helping business owners succeed in a changing business environment.
The keynote speaker will be Jason Dorsey, the co-founder of the Center of Generational Kinetics. Dorsey, who has appeared on the television programs “60 Minutes,” “The Today Show” and “20/20,” will offer strategies for managing an effective workforce with people of all ages.
The summit also features Kristin Dietzel, vice president of workforce solutions with the Greater Dubuque Development Corp.
Others scheduled to speak include Wendy Mihm-Herold, the college’s vice president of business and community solutions; Natalie Hoffman of Honkamp Krueger & Co. P.C.; David North, CEO of Sedgwick Claims Management Services Inc.; and Wendy Runde, manager of the Diamond Jo Casino.
The deadline for a reduced-price registration is March 31.
