Clinton County opens bidding process for construction of Law Center

Clinton County, Iowa recently announced that it has opened a bidding process for the construction of its new Law Center, which will contain the offices of the Clinton County 911 Communications Center, Emergency Operations Center, Emergency Management Agency and Clinton County Sheriff.


Clinton County, Iowa recently announced that it has opened a bidding process for the construction of its new Law Center, which will contain the offices of the Clinton County 911 Communications Center, Emergency Operations Center, Emergency Management Agency and Clinton County Sheriff.

Bids are due by March 23 at 2 p.m. and are for contributing exterior concrete, structural steel, carpentry, roofing, asphalt, doors, windows, paint and detention equipment. 

On May 3, voters approved the project in a referendum. ShiveHattery will provide architectural services for the project and the Samuels Group is the project's construction manager. 

The current law center will remain operational and function during the construction. After the new facility is operational, the current Law Center will be demolished.
