The event features 10K and 5K runs and the funds collected will be used to feed and shelter military families and veterans in Nebraska, South Dakota and Iowa.

Sponsored by the Siouxland Federal Credit Union, the fundraising effort will also open the Cardinal Festival, the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce said.

All of the funds raised in the run will go to Support Siouxland Soldiers.

Registration is $30 and participants will receive honor run T-shirts.
