Citizens First Bank donates $865 for prom night activites

Citizens First Bank in Clinton recently donated $865 to the Gateway After Prom committee.

Citizens First Bank in Clinton recently donated $865 to the Gateway After Prom committee.

During the high football season, the bank earmarked a donation to the prom committee every time the Clinton High School River Kings made a first down, according to the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce. The “Citizens First First Down” program is carried out in association with KROS Radio.

The goal of the Gateway After Prom is to make sure that students attending prom events at Clinton, Camanche, Fulton and Prince of Peace high schools have a safe, fun-filled evening.

“We have a lot of new entertainment this year,” Jessica Winkel, an organizer at Gateway After Prom, said. “We are excited to have hypnotist Steve Daly, laser tag and tons of games and prizes.”
