A Very Vintage Market to feature antiques, handcrafted goods

The second annual Downtown Partners' summer event, A Very Vintage Market, will be held July 15 in historic downtown Burlington.

From 9 a.m.-4 p.m., the market will feature more than 100 vendors with a variety of vintage and repurposed items, including antiques, architectural salvage, farmhouse accents, handcrafted goods and vintage-inspired decor, according to a press release. Food vendors and live music will also be available during the event.

“The first Very Vintage Market, held last year, was a major success, bringing over forty vendors and thousands of shoppers to downtown Burlington,” Downtown Partners Executive Director Steve Frevert said. “This year’s event will be even bigger, with nearly three times as many vendors. We’re looking forward to welcoming people from throughout the Midwest to our great downtown.”

Admission to the market is free. The event will be held in the 100-500 blocks of Jefferson Street, 200 blocks of North Third Street and North Fourth Street and 300 block of Valley Street.

Titan Broadcasting is sponsoring the event.
