The city of Maricopa will host its 2nd Saturday Maricopa Market beginning in November and is seeking local vendors who would like to participate.

The market will feature Produce on Wheels. The organization will offer 60 pounds of produce for $10 to community members who come to the market, according to an announcement. Market-goers are asked to bring a wagon, cooler, hamper or anything on wheels to transport the produce to their cars. Only cash is accepted. Produce on Wheels! hours will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. from November through March and 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. from March through May.

The market will have a new location this year at the Sequoia Pathway Academy on North Porter Road.

Any business that would like to become a vendor for the 2017-18 Maricopa Market must have a business license. There is a registration fee of $40, which includes participation in all seven of the markets.
