The University of Iowa Venture School is accepting applications from startups across Iowa for spring 2018.
The eight-week program was developed in 2013 by the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center (Iowa JPEC) based on a curriculum from the National Science Foundation I-Corps at Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley. It emphasizes real-world entrepreneurship and innovation based on a leading curriculum to impart marketing expertise and real-world knowledge and skills.
The spring program will host locations in Iowa City, Sioux City, Des Moines, the Quad Cities and Dubuque. An online version of the program will also be available for those in other locations within the state.

Application deadlines are Jan. 16 for Iowa City, Sioux City and online locations and Feb. 6 for Dubuque, Des Moines, and Quad Cities locations.
