HR generalist needed at Goodwill Industries of Iowa

As first reported by HR Daily Wire, Goodwill Industries of Iowa is seeking a human resources generalist.

Duties of the full-time position include coaching managers on how to develop and retain talent; developing and executing performance management strategies; implementing training and development programs; managing compensation practices; leading the safety program; and providing employee relations advice.

Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and/or equivalent training or experience; at least one year HR experience; PHR/SPHR, SHRM-SCP or appropriate industry recognized certification; a valid Iowa driver’s license and a  good driving record; strong communication and interpersonal skills; and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
