West Des Moines, Iowa's SaaS-based benefits specialist Businessolver, with its nationwide sphere of influence, foresees a strong year ahead based on its performance in the latter half of 2017 coupled with the rollout of new branded technology.
Staying in the black for the 17th consecutive year, Businessolver achieved vertical industry growth while managing 96 percent client retention, officials said. Businessolver President and CEO Jon Shanahan noted market conditions have been favorable.
“This market dynamic reinforces our commitment to transforming an industry through technology and empathetic design, which drives our product innovation, hiring strategies and commitment to quality,” Shanahan said.
Additionally, the company upgraded its own hiring approach as it enters its 20th year of operation with planned growth and new office openings.
To spark engagement, the firm launched a leadership curriculum in 2017 alongside a community program for clients. Maintaining its ever-present community perspective, Businessolver also continued charitable contributions via its own foundation — supporting medical and social services.
Company spokespersons estimated that employees donated over 800 hours to philanthropic endeavors, including natural disaster relief, and the company donated over $250,000 to various causes.
