Kaplan University-Des Moines Campus enrolls 657 undergrads


At Kaplan University-Des Moines Campus, 75 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 85 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Urbandale enrolled 760 students in fall 2017, including 657 in undergraduate and 103 in graduate programs, data shows. 15.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Iowa.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (53 percent) and Black or African American (7 percent).
