Graduates earn 124 degrees, certificates from Hamilton Technical College


About 58.9 percent of the 124 degrees and certificates handed out by Hamilton Technical College in 2017-18 were to students in engineering technology and engineering-related fields programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Davenport conferred 49 associate's degrees and 24 bachelor's degrees in engineering technology and engineering-related fields programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in electrical, electronic and communications engineering technology/technician. Data shows the school gave out 49 associate's degrees in electrical, electronic and communications engineering technology/technician, followed by 39 certificates in medical/clinical assistant and 24 bachelor's degrees in electrical, electronic and communications engineering technology/technician.

The college enrolled 134 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
