Marion County, Iowa had a population of 33,127 people in 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Iowa Business Daily.

The median age was 39, with 50.7 percent of the total population being female and 49.3 percent male.

The state’s total population in 2017 was 3,118,102.
