Census Bureau reports Mitchell County population was 10,663 in 2017


Mitchell County, Iowa had a population of 10,663 people in 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Iowa Business Daily.

The median age was 44, with 50.4 percent of the total population being female and 49.6 percent male.

The state’s total population in 2017 was 3,118,102.
