Census Bureau reports Monona County population was 8,865 in 2017


Monona County, Iowa had a population of 8,865 people in 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Iowa Business Daily.

The median age was 46, with 50.5 percent of the total population being female and 49.5 percent male.

The state’s total population in 2017 was 3,118,102.
