JPMorgan Chase has announced a partnership with the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. As a result of the partnership, the financial institution, headquartered in New York City, will sponsor select temporary exhibitions, the museum's regular feature, and community related events.

The partnership leads JPMorgan Chase in becoming an "official partner" and the "Preferred Card of the Museum."

The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures' corporate partnerships offer strategic visibility in Los Angeles' market, while providing access to a global network of film enthusiasts and professionals through support for exhibitions, film programs, and special events. Both partners and corporate members receive "exclusive" benefits that enhance their engagement with the museum and its audience, according to the Corporate Support webpage, provided by the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.

David Shaheen, head of the west region and entertainment industries for J.P. Morgan Corporate Client Banking, stated in a press release by JPMorgan Chase: "JPMorgan Chase has walked side by side with the film industry since its inception, collaborating on and supporting many of its chapters throughout its history. Our support of the industry has been central to its achievements from the beginning, and so we’re thrilled to play yet another part in showcasing its stories to the world."

Along with various temporary exhibitions, JPMorgan Chase will sponsor the museum’s weekly film screening series, "Oscar Sundays," which takes place every Sunday afternoon.

“For generations JPMorgan Chase has worked alongside the film industry helping to define it as an important cultural influencer throughout the world,” said Olivier de Givenchy, west region head of J.P. Morgan Private Bank, according to a press release from JPMorgan Chase. “In this next chapter, we are honored to partner with the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures as visitors from across the country and around the world walk through its doors to learn and be inspired through film.”

Through its division, J.P. Morgan Private Bank, JPMorgan Chase provides tailored wealth management services to entertainment industry executives, directors, creatives, and talent. These services include personalized investment services, estate planning, and other products catered to industry stakeholders, according to a press release by JPMorgan Chase.
